Duration of the project
2014 to 2020
The service consists in the assessment of EP project i.e. the electrification of several railway sections in Denmark.
The aim of EP is to allow the electric trains operating on most of the Danish railway network. The system that will be provided should be a well-proven system already approved according to the TSI with some minor modifications to fit the Danish infrastructure.
The electrification system consists in Catenary system, Power Supply system with an interface with the Electrical Remote Center.
EP includes 7 project phases:

- Assessment of the electrification system itself including checking the right coverage of some risks by the other subsystems (Infrastructure, CCS, Rolling Stock…)
- Assessment of the acceptability of exported requirements from the adjusted or new system to the electrification system
- Assessment of the interfaces with other subsystems
- Assessment of the electrification system according to TSI Energy for Energy subsystem. Assessment regarding to other TSIs is considered being performed by the other NoBo.
